EF painters & decorating Ltd (trading as EF Painting & Decoration) is responsible for the personal information you give us through this website.

When you ask for a quote, we collect:

• your name, phone number, email address and postcode
• your answers about the job (what would you like done; when would you like the work done)
• a record of your agreement to be contacted: the date, time and wording you agreed to
• how you found us: the advert or campaign you clicked (for example UTM tags and a Facebook click ID) and the page you arrived on
• your IP address and browser type, which every website receives

• To reply to your enquiry and give you a quote, including contacting you by phone, email or text as you agreed. This is to take steps you asked for before any contract.
• To book and manage appointments if you choose a time in our calendar.
• To measure our adverts. When you send the form, we tell Meta (Facebook and Instagram) that an enquiry came from one of our adverts. We send your email, phone number, name and postcode in a scrambled (hashed) form, plus your IP address and browser type, so Meta can match the enquiry to the advert without us sharing readable contact details. We do this in our legitimate interest in knowing which adverts work. You can object at any time (see Your rights).

We don't sell your information, and we only use it for the reasons above.

We use these companies to run this website and handle enquiries:

• HighLevel (LeadConnector): stores your enquiry and manages appointments (our CRM)
• Meta Platforms: measures how our adverts on Facebook and Instagram perform
• Vercel: hosts this website

Some of them are based in, or use services in, the United States. Where information leaves Jersey, they protect it with approved safeguards such as standard contractual clauses or other safeguards recognised under Jersey law.

We keep your enquiry details for up to 2 years after we last spoke, or longer if you become a customer and we need records of the work.

This site only uses cookies that are needed for it to work, unless you agree to more. If you click Accept on our cookie banner, we also use the Meta Pixel, which sets cookies to measure how our adverts perform. If you click Decline, it doesn't load. You can change your choice at any time: Cookie settings.

Under the Data Protection (Jersey) Law 2018 you can ask us to:

• give you a copy of the information we hold about you
• correct it if it's wrong
• delete it
• limit how we use it, or stop using it for advert measurement
• send it to you or another company in a common format

You can withdraw your agreement to be contacted at any time. Email egidiofreitas23@gmail.com and we'll reply within four weeks.

If you're unhappy with how we've handled your information, please tell us first. You can also complain to the Jersey Office of the Information Commissioner (JOIC).
